Extension of Screening Test Validity and Application Deadline for Junior Clerk Posts

The Government of Sindh, Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, has issued a corrigendum for candidates who applied for the post of Junior Clerk (BPS-11). The notice updates the validity period of the IBA Sukkur Screening Test results for both Graduation and Intermediate categories. The test results for candidates who appeared between 2021 and 2023 will now remain valid until June 30, 2026. The department has also extended the last date for applying to May 12, 2025, with a five-year general age relaxation as per the Sindh Civil Servants Rules, 2024.

Sindh Government Lifts Ban on BPS-01 to BPS-04 Appointments

The Government of Sindh has officially lifted the ban on appointments for posts in BPS-01 to BPS-04. The validity of Departmental Selection Committees’ meetings held for recruitment under the 2021–22 advertisements has been extended until 30th June 2026. The Sindh Job Portal (SJP) has clarified that all job rules, eligibility criteria, age limits, and required certificates are decided by the respective government departments, not by SJP. If the Pharmacy (Pharm-D) option is not available on the Sindh Job Portal (SJP), you should select the option “16 Years Education – Science.”

Pharm-D is a five-year professional degree that is equivalent to 16 years of education in the Science category. Therefore, this selection correctly represents your qualification on the portal.

By choosing this option, your educational background will be properly recognized, and you will remain eligible for relevant BPS-13 to BPS-15 level government job positions.
